ACHIEVEMENTS: CCCAA Champion, U18 Youth Water Polo Champion Istanbul 2014

Who got you into water polo and when did you start playing?

I used to be a swimming, however I found it boring and after a while and I started to play water polo which was more entertaining. I started playing water polo in 2003.

If you weren't playing water polo, what other sport would you want to play atthe college level?

I am a very skilled darts player, if this was a college sport I would love to compete.

What makes Coach Scott Taylor the type of coach you love to play for?

I think that Scott, Danny, Dan and Zach did a great job during the season. They supported us when we needed them the most, and they also punished us whenwe made mistakes. However, it is not only about the coaches for me, of course coaches are very important, they are the cohesion of the team, but in my opinion the teammates are as important as the coaches. We can build a wall with good quality cement, but if the bricks made from foam, people can easily destroy it. I think it is the same with team sports.

What are you majoring in and what's your favorite class?

My major is social sciences and human behavior. My favorite class was criminology, because I am obsessed with the TV show Criminal Minds. I do not want to work in the Criminal Justice System I just find it very interesting.

What is your perfect pre-game meal?

Few glazed donuts and a coffee

Walk us through your pre-game warm up.

I think that people would see my warm up they would think that I am Joking. I most likely walking around listening music yelling and beating up myself,however it helps me a lot. Warm up is more of mental aspect compared to a physical aspect for me. However, I do need to do the same physical things tomake sure my shoulder is warm.

What are the first 3 songs on your pre-game playlist?

MUSE – Supremacy, The Dubliners – Rocky Road to Dublin, Korn – Coming Undone

What do you enjoy doing on your day off?

I like to watching movies listening music and spending time with my friend. I also like to travel and explore new places. I don’t really have a usual day off schedule.

Who on the team are you closest with?

I loved everybody from this team I could not choose anyone specific from the team.

What is your leadership style?

I was not a dominant leadership personality within this team, however I chose tolead by example with aggressive attacking play. During the teams ‘slumps’ ingames I would take it on myself to try and score goals and try to be helpful indefense to get the team going again.

Once you're done at Golden west, what do you want to be remembered as?

I do not want to remembered as anyone, I just want to do my best and have fun during my college years.

What is the plan once you graduate?

I am not sure yet.

What do you want to say to the fans who have watched you play during yourtime at Golden West?

Thank you very much for the support you have showed throughout the season.The whole team appreciates the family friends and school support team that helped cheer us on at every game.
