ORANGE, CA – The Saddleback College women's cross county team led the way for the Orange Empire Conference with a 4^th place finish at the Southern California Preview Championship (Sept. 16) hosted by the OEC at Irvine Regional Park. With 31 total teams competing, three other OEC schools finished in the top-10 including Riverside in 5^th, Santa Ana in 7^th and Orange Coast in 9^th. 

Saddleback finished with 213 total points led by Angel Vallier who finished (19:56) 20^th place while Caroline Dagarin was right on her heels in (20:05) 22^nd. Riverside finished right behind the Gauchos with 222 points led by a (20:08) 27^th place finish by freshman Esther Shader. 

Santa Ana and Orange Coast finished with 275 and 323 points respectively. Santa Ana sophomore Toni Lopez finished (19:04) 3^rd overall to lead all OEC participants while Orange Coast's Alyssa Allen finished (19:27) 10^th.
