The Santiago Canyon College Softball Team added 3 more wins to their overall record, while dropping their first game of the year this weekend. On Friday, SCC traveled to Southwestern College for a double header taking game one 13-5 and game two 16-6.  The Hawks then turned around on Saturday with another double header against Bakersfield College at home.  In game one, the Hawks extended their win streak to 5 straight games with a 3-0 win before dropping game two 11-6 bringing, their overall record to 6-1.  

The Hawks offense continues to stay hot with a team .411 batting average and leading the state in several categories including: 6 home runs, 79 runs scored, 88 hits, 20 doubles, and 73 RBI's.  The Hawks also lead the state defensively in turning double plays with 5 in 7 games. 

The Hawks will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday when they host Ventura College at home. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00pm.
