Fullerton Headlines OEC All-Conference Men’s Basketball List

Fullerton's Joe Grahovac has been named the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Most Valuable Player after leading his team to a co-conference title and a second overall seed in the 3C2A Southern Regional Championships. Fullerton Head Coach Perry Webster earned the Coach of the Year award for the fifth-consecutive season, while Fullerton's Justin Davis has been crowned the Defensive Player of the Year.

Santiago Canyon's EJ Bryson has been tabbed as the conference's Offensive Player of the Year after leading his squad to a con-conference title as well.

Grahovac ranked fourth in the conference with 16 points-per-game and seventh with 6.7 rebounds-per-game. He scored in double-digit points in 15 of his 16 conference contests which encompass six game scoring 20 or more points. He exploded for a 32-point showing in a win over Santa Ana in the second round of the OEC tournament. Additionally, he swatted away attempted shots better than anyone by carting a 2.7 blocks-per-game clip.

Davis was a lockdown defender throughout the entire season as seen in 4.5 rebounds-per-game and 1.3 steals-per-game. He contributed to the Hornets pocketing just under six steals-per-game, 2.2 blocks-per-game and allowing a lowly 60.8 points-per-game to opponents. Additionally, he helped hold oppositions to a 37.7 field goal percentage.

Bryson was a dynamic weapon for a high-flying Hawk's offense as seen in 16.1 points-per-game while averaging a team-high 29.1 minutes-per-game. He scored 34 points in a conference-opening victory over Saddleback and continued to net 15 double-digit scoring games. He was a 47.4 percent shooter which included a 31.4 clip from long range.
