HORNETS FLY HIGHER THAN GRIFFINS

Fullerton welcomed Grossmont College to the Hornet Nest on Friday night and swept the Griffins in three straight sets. 

In the first set FC went up early 10-2 and looked to be in control, but the Griffins fought back in the end making it look closer before the Hornets won it 22-25.  

Fullerton pushed ahead in the second set, taking an early lead and walked away with a 19-25 victory. 

The third set was a close battle where the Hornets held a 19-20 edge. FC went on a 5-2 run that was capped off by Leonardo Mazuco's kill to win it all 21-25. 

Hunter Wong-Hin had a game-high of 14 kills with 14 digs, while Leonardo Mazuco followed with 13 kills and 7 digs. David Perez had 12 digs and Aaron Delgado-Tietze contributed 4 blocks.
