SANTA ANA, Calif. - Santa Ana Women's Basketball took care of home court on Sophomore Night as they defeated the Riverside City Tigers (11-16, 2-9) 86-66 in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) contest.
Larissa Robles led the way for the Dons (19-8, 6-5), posting a game high 25 points to go with seven rebounds, five steals and two assists.
The sophomore guard from Sonora High had 15 of her 25 in the second quarter, helping SAC push their lead to 45-34 at the half.
In the third quarter, Santa Ana continued to produce on the offensive end, outsourcing the Tigers 24-9 to pull away.
Mia Rivera scored 18 points and dished out eight assists while Anaya Beard and Kiki Graham added 12 points each and combined for 15 boards and five assists.
The Dons also got a big performance from Kendrah Lopez in the last regular season home game of her career. Lopez, a guard from Saddleback High, tallied season highs in rebounds (10) and assists (8).
With the win, Santa Ana secured their 19th win of the season before heading to Orange Coast on Wednesday where they'll match up with first place Pirates.
