BASEBALL ENDS PLAYOFF RUN AT HOME

The Panthers' playoff run ended Saturday with a 6-4 loss to Fullerton in Game 2 of the best-of-three series. Chaffey has fallen 7-1 to the Hornets Friday afternoon to start the first round of regional playoffs. The Panthers, who captured the first conference title since 2016 were seeded #12 in Southern California.
Chaffey took an early lead Saturday scoring three in the 2nd inning and holding the Hornets at bay until the 6th. League MVP Braden Hofmeyer made his final appearance for Chaffey, pitching the first six.
The Panthers complete the season 28-14 overall.
