HORNETS OUT-DUEL THE DONS

HORNETS OUT-DUEL THE DONS: The FC women's soccer team won their first conference game on the season at home Friday beating OEC rival Santa Ana College 3-2.

Sophomore Mirna Venegas scored 2 goals (1 unassisted) for the Hornets with the assist by sophomore Jazmin Diaz.  Diaz also scored a goal with the assist by sophomore Brianna Lizaola.

Goalie sophomore Nadia Ruiz played 90 minutes with 2 saves and 2 goals against. 

Next: The Hornets (2-7-1, 1-4-1) travel to Orange Coast College this Tuesday, October 2nd.  Game time is at 7:00 pm.
