
Giants pick up a pair of wins before Easter
The Giants notched two wins during back-to-back games during spring break.
On Tuesday April 11, Oscar Reyes' first inning three-run home run propelled COS to a 4-1 victory against Bakersfield.
Alex Garcia picked up his eighth victory of the season, tossing six innings, with nine strikeouts.
Troy Stainbrook picked up a two inning save, for his fifth of the season.
Wednesday April 12, saw Sequoias strike early once again, en route to a 5-4 win over Saddleback.
Emilio Navarro was 1-for-2, and had two RBI on his lone hit in the second inning.
Saddleback came back in the sixth inning, taking a 4-3 lead, all the way up to the bottom of the ninth.
Oscar Reyes would put the game away in the bottom of the frame with his walkoff double, scoring Wyatt Tilley and Gabe Corona.
Diego Morales picked up his second victory of the season.
Up next for COS, is a three-game series with Fresno City. The Giants host the Rams on Thursday at 2 p.m.
