After winning their first game last Thursday 6-4, COS could not find their footing last Saturday and Sunday.
Feb. 2, COS 6 - Golden West 4: Alex Garcia pitched six innings of one run ball, and got a no-decision. Diego Morales got the win and Sagun Gainey got his second save of the season.
Gainey was also 1-for-4 at the plate, but that one was a two-run home run.
Feb. 4, Mission 14 - COS 7: It was a tight 2-1 lead for Mission going into the top of the fifth inning. Mission then blew the door open with a seven run inning, and ultimately took the game.
Feb. 5, Bakersfield 4 - COS 0: The game felt closer than the score, but COS could not catch any luck. The Giants had eight hits, but left many runners on base.
Thursday will see Marin come to Visalia for a three-game set. COS lost the only game between the two, 13-8 last season. First pitch for Thursday is 2 p.m., on Friday 1 p.m., and Saturday 12 p.m., at Giants Stadium.
