San Diego Miramar
Riverside City College took on two opponents Friday at its own mini tournament, falling 13-5 to fourth-ranked Long Beach City College but dominating a 21-7 victory over San Diego Miramar to close out the tournament.
In the opener against the Vikings, Lennon Franklin and Colby Martin each scored a pair of goals, while Nathan Ferguson also chipped in a goal.
Against the Jets, Riverside saw eight different players score, including six goals from Luke Bills and five from Franklin. Ferguson added three goals, while Martin and Jace Johnson each rattled in a pair of goals. Geoffrey Smith, Damion Montegue and Darian Thompson also got in on the scoring action for the Tigers.
In the cage, Adrian Thompson posted four saves and Leonardo Davis added five to help RCC preserve the win.
The Tigers move to 11-13 on the year with the two results and look to build on their offensive output as they head to the Golden West College on Friday, where RCC takes on Cuesta College at 11:30 a.m.
