Costa Mesa, Ca - The Chargers defeated OCC 10-0 and the game was ended after 5 innings due to the mercy rule. The Chargers mercied OCC on March 6 at Cypress 9-0 and Alyssia Palomino was responsible in blanking the Pirates both times. Cypress (21-4, 11-2) did not allow OCC (8-15, 3-8) to score yet. The Chargers scored 8 runs in the first two innings and cruised to the victory. Morgan Wheeler went 3-for-3, walk, 2 runs and 2 RBIs to lead all Charger batters. Palomino struck out 4 batters and allowed no walk.
