HOME SPLIT FOR HORNETS

It was a rough start for the FC men's volleyball team on Friday falling to Moorpark in three straight sets, but the Hornets fired up for the second game of the game against Santa Monica College beating the Corsairs 3-1.

In the first set of the Moorpark match, FC fell behind early and could not recover after making a push at the end before losing 25-23. Set two was all Raiders as they walked away with it 25-20. With nothing left in the tank for set three, Fullerton let it slip by 25-19.

Hunter Won-Hin led the team in kills with 5. Leonardo Mazuco and Sebastian Acosta followed with 4 kills apiece. 

It was a much different Hornet team in the day's second game against Santa Monica College as FC came out firing to take the first set 18-25. Fullerton kept the energy up outpacing the Cosairs in the second set 19-25. Santa Monica came out clicking in the third set preventing the sweep to win it in a close one 25-22. Fullerton came to play for the fourth and final set to win it 20-25.

Leonardo Mazuco had a big game with 15 kills and 10 digs. Hunter Wong-Hin contributed 13 kills with 13 digs, while Conor Stoebe knocked down 9 kills with 6 digs. Aaron Delgado-Tietze spread the ball around with 38 assists.
