Beach Volleyball: Roadrunners cruise to 5-0 win at Fullerton

Rio Hondo College put together its best team effort of the season as the Roadrunners rolled to a 5-0 non-conference victory at Fullerton College on Wednesday. It was the squad's first sweep of the season. The win improved Rio Hondo to 8-9 overall.

The Roadrunners dropped just one set in the match. The No. 4 duo of Felipa Moreno and Stephanie Garcia were extended to three sets but defeated the Fullerton team of Samaria Longstreet and Kristine Perez by scores of 22-20, 12-21, 18-16.

Madelyn Gastelum and Denyse Perez filled in at the No. 5 spot for Rio Hondo and defeated Kendall Campos and Ashley Pruitt 21-17, 21-11.
