The Citrus College Women's Water Polo team traveled to LA Valley College yesterday, October 2nd to pick up an impressive 23-14 win over the Monarchs.
The Owls improved their record to 4-8 on the season while LA Valley College falls to 4-3 overall on the year.
Citrus College was led by Kori Cunningham and Ryan Price who each scored six goals, Cunningham added four assists while Price recorded three assists. Marieona Reedy scored four goals while her twin, Maryeon Reedy scored three goals and added four assists. Goalie Natalie Abril recorded six saves and assisted on three goals.
The Owls were back home this morning, Thursday, October 3rd to host Riverside City College before both teams travel up north to the San Joaquin Delta tournament this weekend. Citrus College suffered an 11-2 defeat to the Riverside City Tigers.
Citrus College's record sits at 4-9 going into a four-game schedule over the next two days while Riverside City College improves to 15-1 on the season.
The Owls were led by Kori Cunningham and Maryeon Reedy who each scored a goal against the Tigers.
Citrus College will compete against San Joaquin Delta College, Fresno College, Sierra College, and Modesto over the next two days (Friday, October 4th and Saturday, October 5th) as they hope to add more win to their record at the San Joaquin Delta College Tournament.
