The Hornets played up at the Santa Monica College Mini-Tournament on Friday beating both of their opponents.
In game one against San Diego Miramar College, Fullerton defeated the Jets 14-5. Fullerton took control of the game early with Christian Delgadillo leading the way with 3 goals. Bryan Nolan had a solid game with 2 goals, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Christian Hohbein also had 2 goals and 2 assists, while Niam Schade contributed 2 goals.
In game two, FC went on to beat Southwestern College 17-8. FC goal leader Niko Vaccher exploded for 9 goals in the game. Christian Delgadillo chipped in with 3, and Niam Schade tossed in 2.
Up Next: The Hornets (11-9 overall, 2-2 conference) travel to Orange Coast College on Wednesday, October 23rd. Game time is at 3:00 pm.
