Fullerton
Today, the Panthers ended a tenth inning stretch with an unusual occurence - a baseball tie. Called partway through the 11th inning due to darkness, the score revert back to the last full inning when Chaffey was tied 5-5 with Fullerton.
Fullerton took an early lead with four runs scored in the first inning off Jared Billen who went on to pitch into the third inning. The Hornets scored a solo run in the fourth, this time off Matthew Flores who relieved Billen. Johan Castillo came in to cover four innings and then was relieved by Keaton Biallas.
The Panthers went scoreless until the 5th when Jairemy Pulido doubled to drive in Jared Bujanda. Jason DuMont then singled to second to bring in Pulido followed by Darren Taylor single to the left to bring DuMont in.
The men travel to Santa Ana Thursday.
