
Cypress Chargers Women's Volleyball Secures 3-1 Victory Over Santa Ana in their Home Conference Opener
After splitting the first two sets, the Chargers dominated the final two, led by standout performances from Zoe Ziegler, Keilyn Flores, and Amanda Kalpakoff.
CYPRESS, CA - The Cypress Chargers women's volleyball team secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over the Santa Ana Dons in their home conference opener.
The match was tightly contested early on, with both teams splitting the first two sets. Santa Ana took the second set 25-19, evening the score at 1-1.
However, the Chargers regained their momentum in the third set, edging out Santa Ana 25-23 in a closely fought battle. In the fourth and final set, the Chargers dominated from the start, going on a 9-0 run fueled by service aces and closing out the match with a commanding 25-8 win.
Key contributors for Cypress included Zoe Ziegler with 15 kills, Keilyn Flores with 23 assists, and Amanda Kalpakoff, who added 3 service aces to seal the victory.
