Antelope Valley College Men's Volleyball outlasted Golden West 3-1 in their first home game of the season on Friday. The Marauders won the first set 25-19, dropped the second set 19-25, and won the final two sets 25-19 and 25-22.
AVC was led by Luis Guerra, who had a game-high 23 kills along with 23 digs. Connor Wachala had 40 assists, 7 digs, 5 kills, and 3 blocks, while Tim Talabong finished with 12 kills, 12 digs, and 5 service aces. Ed Reyes contributed 25 digs.
The Marauders (1-1) are on the road until February 15th, when they return home to face San Diego Miramar.
