In their final home appearance of a four-game stand, the Panthers played a strong defense and offense defeating the Fullerton Hornets 2-1. Trailing at the half 1-0, the Panthers regrouped scoring twice within a two minute span. Shortly after the break, Hector Ortega Navarro, assisted by Wilson Marv, hit the mark to tie the match. Minutes later, Joseph Jara/Aidan Favero repeated to take the lead. Defense held the Hornets at bay and goalkeeper Jose Estrada kept 6 from the net.
The Panthers begin their road stand Friday at Santa Monica. Proof of complete COVID vaccination or negative test within 72 hours is required to attend the game. The team returns home Tuesday to take on LA Mission.
