SAN JACINTO - Hitting the road for a midweek match, Riverside City fell to the host Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (19-25, 17-25, 25-22, 26-28) despite 15 kills from Kilyn Hayes.
Hayes was on the attack almost all night, posting 52 attacks to go along with eight digs and three blocks. Abbey Oaks also finished in double-digit kills with 10 points coming on 20 attacks with just two attack errors.
Alyssa Bishop and Riley Chaffee each put up 19 assists in the loss while Tabitha Irish and Keira Isgar tied for the team lead in digs with 15 each.
The Tigers will look to get back into the win column on Friday night when they travel to Mt. San Antonio. First serve with the Mounties is set for 6 p.m.
