FULLERTON - The Marauder softball team saw its four-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Fullerton as the Hornets defeated the Marauders, 6-5, in 10 innings.
AVC took leads in the bottom of the eighth and ninth innings before Fullerton responded with a run to tie the score. The Hornets broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the 10th inning with an RBI single to win the game.
Valerie Dorantes, Taylor Roberts and Isabelle Gomez each had multiple hits for the Marauders. Roberts pitched a complete game and allowed only three earned runs.
