HORNETS SWEEP THE CHARGERS: In the final game of the season, the FC women's volleyball squad hosted Cypress College on Wednesday and swept through the Chargers 3-0: 25-22, 25-21, 26-24.

In their first meeting on October 19th, FC fell 3-2: 9-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-20, 12-15 to Cypress in a close one.

The win gives FC an overall record of 11-10 and an Orange Empire Conference record of 7-7 while the loss sets Cypress with an overall record of 9-11 and an 8-6 conference record.

Jordyn Hecker led the Hornets hammering 15 kills with 14 digs while Laura Hartzheim delivered with 37 assists and 11 digs.  Shawnna Chung had 11 kills with 14 digs while Celeste Snider came up with 16 digs and 3 aces. Emilee Sorbom also chipped in with 6 kills with 6 digs.

Up Next:  It is a "wait and see" as the Hornets have a good chance to make the playoffs.  Stay tuned!
