The Tale of Two Halves for Spartans

It was the tale of two halves for the MiraCosta men's basketball team on Friday night.  The Spartans hosted the Santa Ana Dons and after 20 minutes trailed 45-35.  After some halftime adjustments the Spartans outscored the Dons 45-29 in the second half to win the game 80-74.  With the win MiraCosta improves to 6-4 and have won four of the last five games.

Kobe Smith led all scorers with 24 points and added 13 rebounds. The Spartans had three other players score double-digits, Lee Hubbard III (15), Benji Nudo (14), and Javion Langston (12).  Dylan Cabs finished with nine points and eight rebounds and Remington Rofer did a little of everything with six points, five assists and four rebounds. 

The Spartans are next in action on Friday when they open the conference schedule traveling to Imperial Valley College for a 6PM tip off.
