Ramirez advanced to Sweet 16 round at Conference
Panis in the back draw and plays Friday.
Fullerton College, Fullerton, CA - Christian Ramirez had a first round bye, then defeated Jake Altshuler of Fullerton College, 5-7, 6-2, 8-6. After falling from behind 5-7 in the first set, Ramirez beat Altshuler decisively in the next set. The last set saw some back and forth but Ramirez was victorious in the end with his poise. Aehjai Panis lost to Colten Douglas of Riverside, but qualidief to be the back draw and competes Friday. Panis and Ramirez also won advanced in the doubles in the back draw pool on Friday against a duo from Orange Coast.
