Riverside Opens Season in Dominating Fashion

Riverside City College opened the 2025 season in dominating fashion with a 9-0 victory at Mt. San Jacinto College on Wednesday afternoon.

The Tigers improve to 1-0, while the Eagles drop to 1-1.

In doubles action, all three Tiger pairs won by landslides, with both Janine Kremling/Julianna Capraro and Brianna Nikas/Caroline Cocker shutting out their opponents 8-0.

Five of RCC's singles matches ended in just two sets, with Jordyn Sundberg beating Madison Williamson in the No. 1 spot (6-1, 6-1).

The Tigers continue on the road, heading down to San Diego City College for a 2 p.m. match Thursday afternoon.
