After a long wait, the Hornets hosted Long Beach City College for the season opener with the game ending in a 0-0 tie.
Despite the lack of scoring, the game was full of action as both Long Beach and Fullerton played a very physical and exciting game. Both teams had chances to score, but excellent defensive plays ruled the day.
FC goalie Cindy Suarez had a good day in the box with 2 saves in 90 minutes.
Up Next: Fullerton (0-0-1 overall) will host Southwestern College for another non-conference match-up next Friday, September 10th at 1:00 pm. Spectators are welcome.
