Tigers Tame the Mustangs

Match Notes:

·         RCC returned to Orange Empire Conference play with a commanding performance against Cypress College.  The Tigers dropped only eight games on the day.
·         Colten Douglass started the Tigers off with a dominating performance (30 minutes), in the #5 spot, 6-0, 6-0.
·         Sophomores Jordan Gobatie and Gustavo Carvalho kept the Tigers rolling, dominating the #1 and #2 spots.
·         Freshman Eliott Moreno returned to form with a strong win at the #4 spot, 6-0, 6-1.
·         Sophomore Ulises Banos returned the Tigers to the win column and sealed the victory, putting the Tigers up 5-0 with a good win at the #4 spot.
·         In doubles, the sophomore tandem of Gobatie and Banos put together the strongest performance at #1, winning 8-0.
·         RCC now looks forward to a non-conference matchup at home against El Camino College of the South Coast Conference at home on Thursday, March 21st (2:00).
