Tigers Win Conference Match Against Cypress
The RCC Women's Water Polo Team was in action today with a conference match-up against Cypress College. The Tigers led the game 10-4 at half and then shutout Cypress in the second half to win 17-4. Freshman Nikki Bell had 8 goals for the Tigers as Freshman Alia McMorris added 4 goals and Sophomore Megan Geurts added 2 goals. Nikki Vaughn had 9 saves in the goal for the first 3 quarters and Katia Montoya had 6 saves in goal in the 4th quarter.
With this win the Tigers improve to 16-0 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
