HORNET MOMEMTUM SWING: The Fullerton College Soccer team took advantage of Irvine Valley College on a late penalty kick to win the game 2-1 in an Orange Empire Conference match-up.

Coming off of a tie against a strong Golden West College squad on Friday, FC continued to play great soccer at IVC on Tuesday positioning themselves for a shot at the playoffs with a conference record of 4-2-3.

With the Lasers up 1-0 in the second half, the Hornets found the equalizer in the 63rd minute with a corner kick by Misael Samayoa.  Samayoa's kick was knocked inside by Juan Rangel allowing  Trevor Vallo to finish with a header.

Fullerton found the game-winner on a penalty kick by Samayoa.

GK Eduardo Ramos allowed 1 goal against with 2 saves in 90 minutes.
