Freshman guard Makayla Roberts stole the show in tonight's commanding conference win over Santa Ana as she recorded a triple-double by hitting a three pointer midway through the fourth quarter. It is her first-career triple-double in her young, but flourishing career.
"I feel good," said Roberts. "I got my first triple-double. It was unexpected. I feel like I didn't do much, but we got the win."
Riverside continues its strong run as they have now won 11 of their last 12 games highlighted by two-consecutive conference victories.
"We work hard in practice and we never takes breaks in practice," said Roberts. "When we come to the games, it just feels like another practice to us."
