Men’s Tennis Earns Clean Sweep over Mt. SAC

The Riverside City College men's tennis team hit the road to face off against the Mt. San Antonio College Mounties in a non-conference showdown. The Tigers had no problem with the Mounties as they worked a clean sweep without dropping a set in singles play leading to the win.

Sophomore top tandem Carlos Rullan and Rafael Rullan earned their first win of the season in double at 8-6. Freshman duo Enrico Recchia and Emilio Real followed with an 8-2 win at the second position, while sophomore Anant Bhika and Austin Harvill cleaned up an 8-3 win at the third slot.

Singles play was no different for Riverside as R. Rullan set the tone with a two-set win as the top singles player. He won 6-2, 6-1. Real's match ended in retirement after earning a 7-5 win in the first set.

Recchia cleaned house with a 6-1, 6-1 win, while C. Rullan backed him with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph. Freshman Raphael Delente worked a 6-1, 6-0 win at the fifth slot, while Bhika capped the dub with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
