Riverside City College closed out the regular season on the road, falling to No. 9-ranked Santiago Canyon College 92-81 Tuesday night.
The Tigers drop to 12-14 overall and finish 4-9 in Orange Empire Conference action, while the Hawks improve to 21-5 on the year and finish with an 11-2 conference record.
Jayden Miller led the Tigers with 12 points (4-for-6), while Myon Kirlew followed with 11 points (5-for-9). Benjamin Cardenas rounded out the scorers in double figures with 10 points (4-for-8).
Andre Skelin led RCC's rebounding efforts with nine boards, helping the Tigers out-rebound the Hawks 43-to-40.
Riverside shifts its attention to the postseason as the OEC will have a conference tournament starting Thursday, Feb. 13. The Tigers picked up the seventh seed and will face the second seed, which means they will face Santiago Canyon again on Thursday.
