The Hornets won big in their home opener against Cypress College on Wednesday defeating the Chargers 18-2.
FC went up 2-0 in the first quarter with goals by Adrianna Wong and Kate De La Mora.
In the second quarter, the Hornets pumped in 6 more goals taking an 8-2 lead into halftime.
Fullerton held the Chargers scoreless in the second half while scoring 10 more times before the final buzzer sounded.
Wong led FC with 4 goals, while De La Mora and Jordyn Lughart followed with 3 of their own. Lughart also had 3 steals on the day. Sophia Martinez and Neida Torres both contributed 2 goals each.
Hornet goalkeeper Alex Airitam had 3 assists and a steal to go with her 13 saves on the stat sheet.
Up Next: Fullerton (4-1 overall, 1-0 OEC) will play in the Mt. San Antonio College Tournament September 23-24. Game one will be on Friday against Palomar College at 10:10 am.
