The OEC Athletes and Team of the Week have been named for the week of April 15-21, 2024.

The Orange Coast College women's swimming and diving team won the OEC Championships, edging out Riverside City 768-711. The Pirates had the Diver of the Meet (Lia Borja), Co-Swimmer of the Meet (Paige Woodside) and Coach of the Year (Anthony Iacopetti).

Sophomore swimmer Jessie Nelson (Centennial HS) won three individual championships and one relay team title for the Tigers at the OEC Championships. She was named the Swimmer of the Meet for the second-straight year alongside Woodside. Nelson won the 200 IM (2:12.53), the 400 IM (4:46.08) and the 200 breaststroke (2:26.95).

Christian Perez, a sophomore from Orange Coast (Capistrano Valley HS) was named Co-Swimmer of the Meet at the OEC Championships alongside teammate Gideon Stemmons. Perez won all three of his individual events, the 200 IM (1:51.62), 400 IM (4:04.53) and the 200 breaststroke (2:01.90). The Pirates won the team title as well.
