The OEC Athletes and Team of the Week have been named for the week of April 1-7, 2024. 

The top-ranked Fullerton College softball team completed a swept over Orange Coast College. The Hornets remained perfect in OEC play with a record of 12-0 and handed the Pirates their first three losses in conference play. Fullerton is 21-3 overall. 

For the second time this year, sophomore softball pitcher Kaitlyn Reynolds from Cypress College (Edison HS) is our female Athlete of the Week. Reynolds pitched all five games for the Chargers last week and posted a 4-1 record. She earned wins over No. 2 Palomar, No. 8 Long Beach City and two conference wins over Golden West.  

Freshman Kaleb Duncan from the Golden West College baseball team (Goodyear, Ariz./Millennium HS) helped lead the Rustlers to a sweep over Cypress pushing them into a first-place tie with Santa Ana in the conference standings. He hit .429 on the week featuring five RBI, a double, a home run and two stolen bases.
