The Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Athletes and Team of the Week have been named for the week of March 25-31, 2024. 

The Orange Coast College women's tennis team won a share of the OEC title last week. The Pirates are 18-1 on the season and will take the top seed into the OEC Tournament.

Shelby Jacobsz, a sophomore from Golden West College (La Habra HS), hit the game-winner in an eight-inning victory against Compton. She had seven hits and six RBI in three games on the week. 

Ernesto Ruiz, a sophomore from Riverside City College (Norte Vista HS), set a new meet record at the Arnie Robinson Invitational in the 10K, with a time of 30:29.86. That time also guaranteed him in a spot at the 3C2A State Championships.
