Who got you into Cross Country and when did you start playing?
My 6th grade P.E. teacher at Spring View Middle School encouraged me to run.
If you weren't competing in Cross Country or Track & Field, what other sport would you want to play at the college level?
Soccer.
What makes Coach Mitzel and Martin the type of coaches you love to play for?
Both coaches are really motivated. I love the way they express themselves about the sport they once competed in.
What are you majoring in and what's your favorite class?
I'm majoring in Kinesiology but my favorite class would be math.
What is your perfect pre-game meal?
Spaghetti with shrimp.
Walk us through your pre-game warm up.
I start with a 20-minute jog, static stretches and then strides.
What are the first 3 songs on your pre-game playlist?
I can only think of two. Eminem – Cinderella Man and NF – Grindin'
What do you enjoy doing on your day off?
Walking and biking.
Who on the team are you closest with?
Eduardo Guapilla.
What is your leadership style?
Being an example and hoping that my teammates will follow. Just trying to set the bar high.
Once you're done at Santa Ana College, what do you want to be remembered as?
I want to be remembered as a runner that helped the SAC Cross Country program reach the same level as the Universities that we race against.
What is the plan once you graduate?
I plan on continuing my education and running career at Cal State Fullerton.
What do you want to say to the fans who have watched you compete during your time at Santa Ana College?
I just want to say thank you for being my motivation and helping me lead the team.
