Who got you into basketball and when did you start playing?

My mom got me into basketball at the age of 5.

If you weren't playing basketball, what other sport would you want to play at the college level?

Football because I played receiver in high school and corner growing up.

What makes Coach Drew the type of coach you love to play for?

He’s always hard on me and I like someone that pushes me and I know what to expect from him.

What are you majoring in and what's your favorite class?

I'm majoring in criminal justice and my favorite class would have to be intro to criminal justice.

What is your perfect pre-game meal?

We always go to chick-fil-a before the games.

Walk us through your pre-game warm up.

Once we get to the gym I shoot during halftime if there’s a game before ours. Then I listen to my music while I’m getting taped and get dressed 45 minutes before game time.

What are the first 3 songs on your pre-game playlist?

Depends how I’m feeling that day but I’d say Lil Uzi, Drake, or Joe Moses.

What do you enjoy doing on your day off?

I like to work out and then hang out with my friends or my family.

Who on the team are you closest with?

Chez, X, David, and Alex. We’ve just always been close.

What is your leadership style?

I’m tough on my teammates because I know what it takes to be a good team but I’m also caring off the court.

Once you're done at Cypress, what do you want to be remembered as?

I want to be remembered as a conference champion and someone who helped lead a postseason run.

What is the plan once you graduate?

I’d like to move on and play at a 4-year school then hopefully play overseas after.

What do you want to say to the fans who have watched you play during your time at Cypress College?

Thank you for all the support and this is just the beginning of a long season.
