Who got you into Basketball and when did you start playing?

My high school coach Chad Reuter got me into the sport, he saw how tall I was and told me to come out and try it out. I instantly fell in love with it. I started playing when I was in the 7th grade.

If you weren't playing Basketball  what other sport would you want to play at the college level?

If I was not playing basketball I would want to play volleyball at the college level.

What makes Coach Foster the type of coach you love to play for?

What makes Coach Foster the type of coach I love to play for is that she is the true definition of tough love. She will be hard on you, push you to your limits and get the best out of you, but most of all she cares for me as a person and a player. I love playing for Coach Foster.

What is your major and what is your favorite class?

I’m majoring in kinesiology and my favorite class is Health.

What is your perfect pre-game meal?

It varies but most of the time I have fruit, egg whites, bacon, and wheat toast.

Walk us through your pre-game warm up.

Before anything, I pray and thank god for giving me the opportunity to play Basketball. However, Pre-game warm ups are usually done as a team but we shoot around for about 10 minutes, then we stretch, do continuous lay-ups and shots. Then we do a passing drill. After that, we do 2 on 1s, the 3-man weave, then 5-ball shooting. After that we split up; guards and post players. The post players (which is myself) do drop step dribbling, dribbling, then rebounding. Then we do drop steps, deep steps, and shots from the high post. Then us post players meet and talk about what needs to be done, then we meet with the team and talk about what we need to do as a team to be successful. Then we get a team prayer in and then it’s game time!

What are the first 3 songs on your pre-game playlist?

What’s a Valentine Mix, Bad and Boujee, and Eatin.

What do you enjoy doing on your days off?

We don’t take days off.

Who on the team are you closest with?

I am equally close with everyone on the team.

What is your leadership style?

To be a role model for people on and off the court. Especially in the classroom. Always making sure my teammates are all eligible by helping them when we are in study hall. On the court, I make sure I am constantly talking and keeping a positive attitude no matter what the outcome maybe.

Once you're done at Fullerton College what do you want to be remembered as?

Once I am done at Fullerton College, I want to be remembered as the tall relentless player that led the conference in rebounds and blocks. The player would do anything for her teammates and a winner.

What is the plan once you graduate?

To play basketball at the next level and to get my bachelor’s, master’s, and hopefully my doctorates degree in kinesiology.

What do you want to say to the fans who have watched you play during your time at Fullerton College?

Thank you for supporting me through my journey. Not everyone can go on the journey with me, so I appreciate those who are willing to support me during the process of struggle and success.
