Irvine Valley's Breanna Turner was named the Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player for the 2014-15 season.

Following a perfect 12-0 run in Orange Empire Conference competition, the Irvine Valley College Lasers were rewarded with the top honors in the All-Orange Empire Conference selection. The Lasers sophomore center, Breanna Turner, was named the Most Valuable Player while Head Coach Julie Hanks was named the Coach of the Year.

Turner averaged 15.6 points per game for Irvine Valley during OEC play to go along with 10.6 rebounds per game. She scored in double digits in 11 of the 12 games while recording highs of 22 points against Santa Ana College and 17 rebounds against Cypress College.

Coach Hanks received coaching honors as she led the Lasers to the first undefeated OEC season since Fullerton College accomplished the feat in back-to-back seasons from 2009-2011. This was also Irvine Valley's first OEC title since the 1998-99 season and just the third in school history.
