Saddleback College Sweeps Top Honors for Women's Basketball All-OEC Team

Saddleback College's Deja Brooks was named the Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player.

Saddleback College followed its Orange Empire Conference Championship with some much deserved hardware as the Gauchos took top-honors on the All-Orange Empire Conference Team. Deja Brooks was named the OEC Most Valuable Player while Saddleback Head Coach Fentriss Winn was named the Coach of the Year.

Brooks increased her scoring average in conference play to 16 points per game, up from 11.6 points per game on the season. In the Gauchos run to the title, Brooks scored in double digits including four-straight performances of at least 16 points to close out the season.
