Riverside City College captured the 2017 Orange Empire Conference women's track and field championship, winning 14 of the 21 events to post 408 team points or nearly triple the amount of points as any other college.

Freshman Ca'may Stocker was the only Tiger to win two conference titles, taking the shot put (12.13 meters) and the discus (41.24 meters) while the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams also captured conference titles.

There were a pair of double-winners from other colleges as Orange Coast College sophomore Alyssa Allen captured both the 800-meters (2:20.62) as well as the 1,500-meters (4:44.00), with the Saddleback College duo of Angel Vallier and Caroline Dagarin finishing second and third, respectively, in both of those races  Santa Ana College sophomore Toni Lopez won both the 5,000-meters (18:19.74) and 10,000-meters (39:39.87) while Riverside freshman Sarah Hollis was the runner-up in both of those races.

Riverside captured the sprints with Tia Parrish (100-meters), Argnae Myers (200-meters), and Nkya Ross (400-meters) earning conference titles.  The Tigers also swept through the jumps as Danielle Spargur (high jump), Jali Barrett (long jump), Destinee Widgins (triple jump), and Madison McPeak (pole vault) soared to winning marks.  Kori Sprague won the hammer throw for the Tigers, giving Riverside three of the four throws titles.  Anna Gillis of Saddleback (33.94 meters) edged out Diamond Scott of Riverside (31.18 meters) for the javelin title.

Mychal Robinson of Orange Coast captured the 100-meter hurdles (14.63 seconds) ahead of Madeline Corner of Riverside (15.56) and Tori Powers of Saddleback (15.56), but Corner captured the 400-meter hurdles (1:04.56).  The only other non-Tiger to win a conference title was Saddleback sophomore Rachel Oberschelp who won the 3,000-meter steeplechase event (11:44.05) while Hollis was the runner-up in her third distance race of the meet.
