Riverside Men's Cross Country Wins Back-to-Back OEC Titles

The RCC men's cross country team earned back-to-back Orange Empire Conference titles and their fifth in the last ten seasons. The race was at Central Park in Huntington Beach.

The Tigers' Joshua Silva won the individual title with a time of 20:52. The Tigers put seven in the top 14 to earn 1st team OEC honors.  The Tigers second finisher was Michael Simpson in 6th place (21:24), third was Isaiah Quiambao finishing in 9th place overall (21:29), fourth for the Tigers was Terry Jackson finishing 10th overall (21:31), the fifth finisher for the Tigers was Cade Clark finishing in 11th place overall (21:32), the sixth finisher for the Tigers was Michael Robinson finishing in 13th place overall (21:38), and Jeff Robbins was the seventh man for the Tigers finishing in 14th place (21:43).  "We ran as a team today, and our depth was very impressive with 16 Tigers placing ahead of the 2nd place teams' number five man."
