The men's water polo program were in complete control from start to finish in their lopsided win over visiting Saddleback College Wednesday afternoon 20-4.
The Rustlers (5-1, 2-0) used all their players in this match as 11 different players scored a goal with Ian Diamond topping the list with three goals of his own. The team opened with 6-1 lead after the first quarter and shut out the Gauchos (4-5, 0-1) in the second quarter for a commanding 14-1 halftime lead.
More of the same in the second half of the match as the Rustlers added six more goals to their total in the 20-4 victory. Riley Pfieffer, Bruno Chiappine, and Giorgi Khizanishvili each netted two goals apiece to add to the victory.
Next the Rustlers are on the road to Cuesta on Thursday September 26th for a 2pm match.
