Saddleback's starting five were 1st team All-Orange Empire Conference selections with Conor Clifford leading the charge as the 2015 Orange Empire Conference Player of the Year. The Gauchos swept though the conference with an OEC record of 11-1. Their overall record currently stands at 28-2 as they are the only team to represent the conference in the upcoming Southern California Regional Playoffs as a #2 seed.
Clifford's MVP selection was a no-brainer as he led the Gauchos to their fourth consecutive OEC title while also leading the conference in points per game (14.4) and field goal percentage (63.5% - 5th in state). He was 4th in rebounds per game (6.1).
Gaucho head coach Andy Ground was selected as the conference coach of the year after winning the title.
