The #20 Hornets played at Saddleback College on Wednesday night sweeping through the Gauchos 3-0: 25-11, 25-17, 25-11 keeping their current win streak alive.
Currently on a 5-game win streak, Fullerton's win bumps their overall record to 10-4 overall and 5-1 in the Orange Empire Conference. The Gaucho loss scales them back to 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the OEC.
Carly Bergen helped pave the way for the Hornets with 30 assists, 4 kills, 7 digs, and 3 aces. Kaylyn Johnson and Shawnee Longmeyer both contributed 10 kills each. Alex Winfield had 6 kills, 4 assists, and 2 block assists, and Azucena Duarte accumulated 5 kills along with 8 digs. Mallory Koci had 8 digs and Mikki Sale dug up 7 along with 4 aces.
