SANTA ANA, Calif. --- The Chargers continued OEC play on Friday night and played a very well-rounded game against Santa Ana College.  

The first set belonged to the Chargers as they defeated the Dons, (25-20).  After the strong first set, Cypress surprisingly dropped the second set to the Dons, (23-25).  

Kiki Atuatasi's serving stood out in the third set as she was able to help the Chargers take down Santa Ana (25-16) and give Cypress the 2-1 advantage on the night.  

The fourth and final set was all Cypress.  The Chargers were able to shut the Dons down early and dominated the final set of the night (25-4), giving Cypress the (3-1) victory. 

Atuatasi recorded 16 kills, Damillia Foster recorded 13 kills, Holly Webster led the team with 18 digs and Allyson Dekruyf led the team in assists with 40 on the night. 

This makes Cypress (8-6) overall on the season and puts them in 5th place in OEC conference play.  The Chargers face Saddleback at home on Oct. 23, starting at 7pm.
