The Hornets were successful last week as they beat both of their opponents moving them up one spot to #6 in the state rankings.
On Wednesday, FC avenged a loss from earlier in the season beating Orange Coast College 4-1 (25-15, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21) at home.
Grace Lopez had a solid night with a game-high 15 kills and 12 digs. Briana Cervantes followed up with 13 kills with 13 digs while Alex Winfield had a busy night with 29 assists, 5 kills, 5 digs, and 3 aces.
Then on Friday, Fullerton defeated Santa Ana College 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-13) on the road.
Larreya Hayden led FC with 10 kills, 6 digs, and 2 aces. Alanna Hayhurst had 9 kills with 7 digs.
