The Hornets won their second straight Orange Empire Conference match at home on Monday night knocking off Santiago Canyon College 3-0.
The win helps Fullerton in the OEC standings giving them a 3-5 record, while the loss keeps Santiago Canyon winless at 0-8.
FC made quick work of the Hawks in game one winning 25-12. In game two, Santiago Canyon did their best to even things up, but the Hornets pulled out on top 25-19. Game three was all Fullerton as they kept their foot on the pedal for a 25-14 win.
Kaylyn Johnson and Lauren Schaefer were the FC kill leaders with 8 apiece. Kailyn Case chimed in with 5 kills and 22 assists. Catherine Serna had 4 kills and Andrea Lopez had 4 aces.
Up Next: The Hornets (6-8 overall, 3-5 OEC) will play at Golden West College this Wednesday, October 18th. Game time is at 6:00 pm.
